The LOG-IN Africa 2008 e-local governance conference organizing committee invites unpublished, original contributions describing ongoing or completed work, originating from:

Academia - Theoretical and methodological frameworks on e-governance or e-local governance, including practical experiences and lessons in utilizing these frameworks.

Government - Experiences, case studies and lessons learnt when planning, developing, executing and evaluating e-local governance initiatives.
-
Private industry and NGOs (practitioners) - Products and tools upon which concrete solutions for e-local governance can be built.
Presentation submissions
Authors wishing to make presentations will go through a three-stage preparation process:
Abstracts – Maximum 500 words abstracts must be submitted by February 29th, 2008. They will be reviewed by the Program Committee to establish their suitability for the conference. Acceptance notifications will be sent to the authors by March 15th, 2008.
Full Paper - Must be a minimum of 5,000 words and not more than 7,500 and must be submitted to the LOG-IN Program Committee for review by April 15th, 2008. Acceptance notifications will be sent to the authors by April 30th, 2008.
Final Paper - All accepted papers should be revised to address the LOG-IN Program Committee’s comments and to be submitted by May 15th, 2008. Review process now underway
