PMT
The Project Management Team is composed of the Project Leader/Research Network Coordinator, the Research Director, the Research Network Administrator, and the Research Assistants. The PMT will be responsible for the monitoring, coordination and supervision of the implementation activities, both at the Network and the country levels. This will be enabled through the establishment of a “virtual (work) space”, an electronic mail network and e-Discussion Forums (private and open) dedicated to LOG-IN Africa.
The PMT will meet continuously “electronically” and will hold face-to-face meetings in conjunction with each of the workshops planned during the LOG-IN Africa Project lifecycle. Other meetings will be arranged as required.
The specific tasks and responsibility of each member of the PMT will be:

Project Leader/Research Network Coordinator will have overall responsibility for the implementation of the project in all its aspects including:

Overall responsibility for the project management of LOG-IN Africa;

Coordination of Networking management (including e-Information exchange);

Coordination of documentation management and quality control;

Reporting to the Project Management Committee and IDRC;

Coordination of workshops and events;
-
Coordination of dissemination of results through publications, events and WWW;
-
Coordination of Network evaluation activities;
-
Communication, sharing and marketing;
-
Public Relations and “external” representation of LOG-IN Africa (as mandated by the Project Management Committee);

Partnership-Building and fund-raising (in collaboration with the Project Management Team and LOG-IN Africa Research Network members).
