Prof. Mammo Muchie holds a D.Phil in Science and Technology Policy from the University of Sussex in the UK; He is currently Professor, Chair and Director of the Research Center for Development and International Relations, and the Comparative Research Center on Integration's Institute for History, International and Social Studies at the university of Aalborg, Denmark. The Business and Management lecturer Mammo Muchie was awarded an honorary professorship at Jiaxing University.
Among his various and wide-ranging appointments is his secondment to the post of Director of the Research Programme on Civil Society and African Integration at the Centre of Civil Society and School of Development Studies, at the (then) University of Natal, Durban, South Africa, from 2003 to 2004.
Professor Muchie‘s research interest are vast and range from International political economy, world order, developmental studies and the building of an African system of political economy of production and consumption.
He is an Editor of Several Books on African related issues including ‘bridging the digital divide: Innovation Systems for ICT in Brazil, China, India, Thailand And Southern Africa’, and Author of a book entitled “Putting Africa First: the Making of African Innovation and has referred in several publications in his field. He has been invited in several talks at many universities.
